This Cookie Policy explains how MCLL Real Estate (‘the Firm’, ‘we’, ‘us’, ‘our’) uses cookies and similar technologies on mcllrealestate.com.

Cookies are small files stored on your device when you visit a website. Related technologies, such as local storage, let a site remember your choices and understand how it is used. We keep our use of these technologies to the minimum the site needs.

We group what we use into the three categories you see in the consent banner:

• Essential. Needed for the site to work. They remember your consent choices (stored as ‘mcll.consent’) and your preferences, such as language, currency, and theme. This category also covers the measures that keep the site secure and reliable while storing nothing on your device: the Cloudflare Turnstile check that guards our forms, cookieless performance measurement, and server-side error monitoring. Essential items are always active and do not require your consent.

• Analytics. Help us understand how the site is used and find faults, through PostHog, web-performance measurement, and browser-side error monitoring (Sentry). They run only after you accept them, and set their own storage, such as PostHog cookies and local storage.

• Marketing. Would support session replay on our enquiry pages and, in future, remarketing or advertising. We use these only if you opt in, and none is active by default.

When you first visit, a banner lets you choose what to allow. You can Accept all, Reject all, or Customise your choice by category. Until you choose, only essential items run, and closing the banner without choosing has the same effect as rejecting all.

We will ask again twelve months after your last choice, or sooner if we change the categories we use.

You can change or withdraw your choice at any time by reopening the consent banner. Withdrawing consent stops analytics and marketing items from running; it does not affect essential items, which the site needs to function. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings, though some parts of the site may then work less well.
